We enjoyed a wonderful day with Dan Schachner, the host of the hit show Curb Appeal broadcast on the Home and Garden Television (HGTV) network. Dan was on hand to sign autographs, answer questions and say hello. He enjoyed meeting the organizations and vendors promoting healthy space and green products and education.

About Dan
Dan Schachner is an actor and voice-over
artist based in New York City. After graduating from American University in Washington
a degrees in theater and film/video, Schachner moved back to New York in 1997
to pursue a career in television. For four years he was a segment producer, first
for Discovery Channel and later MTV, using his free time at night to perform in
actor showcases. By 1999 he was signed with a talent agent, after which his on-camera
and voice-over career took off. By 2001 he left behind producing entirely to become
a full-time actor.
Schachner can be heard as the voice of commercials for Verizon
DSL, Crest and Sony Music and voice work on cable television. Prior to his current
job as host of HGTV's Curb Appeal, Schachner's television roles included co-hosting
on the Lifetime Network and leading the cast of the hidden-camera show Crash Test
on Spike TV. He has also appeared in commercials for Visa, NY Lotto and Papa John's
Pizza.
In his spare time Schachner is passionate about tearing apart and
remodeling every last square inch of his Manhattan apartment. Find out more about
