Feng Shui Fundamentals
Presented by Instructor Mei Jin Lu
Professor of School of Eastern Culture and Philosophy

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art and philosophy that is used to achieve harmony in relationship, success in financial endeavor and ultimate good health and happiness in your life by balancing your environment with nature. This practice has become increasingly popular in the West as stress-plagued Westerners look for new ways to create wealth, serenity, peace of mind, and joy.
The course will teach you how to use practical methods for strengthening the positive energy in your surroundings to nurture you. It will show you some of the techniques to transform your environment (your home, garden, or business) into a place where you feel happy, healthy, and motivated, and where your aspirations become reality.
Course covers:

• What is Feng Shui /Qi? How can it affect our life? How can we distinguish good qi from the bad qi?
• What is Yin & Yang? How should you manipulate them to achieve harmony?
• What is BaGua? Why is it essential to understanding it in Feng Shui? How to read BaGua?
• The Five Elements: How does each element interact with the other to reach good results or bad consequences? Discover your dominant Element and how to design/decorate/enhance your environment to achieve harmony in Relationships, Career, Health, and Finance.
• Do's/ Don'ts. General Feng Shui rules for your front door, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and office, etc.
• Use of the compass. Learn how to use a simple compass to locate all eight BaGua sectors in your front entrance, your home layout, yard, and office; and apply colors accordingly.
• Specific Feng Shui Cures for each sector. Learn how to maximize the benefits of auspicious areas, and minimize the negative influences of unlucky areas.

  About Mei Jin Lu
  Mei Jin Lu is the 25th generation of Ordained Taoist spiritual healer, teacher lecturing on Feng Shui, Energy healing, Taoism and Eastern philosophy worldwide. She studied Taoism and practiced at the Temple of Tao in her native China. She is the executive director of the I-Ching Society of China located in Beijing, and the founder of the School of Eastern Culture and Philosophy located in New Jersey. She is a senior member of the International Ancient Science Research Institute for Feng Shui located in Hong Kong, and earned the titles of Senior Feng Shui Master, Professor of Feng Shui for her work.

Currently in addition to teaching at her school, she is an adjunct professor, teaching Feng Shui, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong at NJCU, and Computer Science in the Math/Computer Science Department of Kean University. In her day-today spiritual teaching and counseling, she has been researching unifying themes between Eastern and Western philosophy. She studied with Doreen Virtue and is certified by Doreen Virtue as an Angel Therapy Practitioner. Mei Jin gives angel readings and performs healings in her private practice in the Center for Holistic Wellness located in Denville, New Jersey.

About Jami Lin

Healing with the Voice

The world we live in is alive with sounds. Sound vibrations can be focused to tune the body. Using sound as the medium for healing is within the grasp of anyone who wants to open up through the voice. The key to sound health lies in the perfect spin of the chakras. The key to our self-transformation lies in the vibrational spin of the chakras. The closer their frequencies are to the optimum the more we become who we really are and produce sound health at every level. Through the process of therapeutic vocal sound the chakras are stimulated and balanced, throwing off the blockages and releasing fine energies.
Using sound as the medium for healing is within the grasp of anyone who wants to open up through the voice. There is no need to become a trained singer. It has nothing to do with a beauty of tone and everything to do with vibratory power. There are special singers whose sound is not cultivated but who lift us up with great emotion - singers like Edith Piaf and Billie Holiday. So much about healing lies in intent, that desire to transcend what limits us at every level. Vibrational medicine in whatever form is the future. Never mind mapping out all our genes. Let science find a way of determining all our frequencies. Just as the overtone patterns of the voice are unique to each person, just like fingerprints, so too are the overall frequencies.
