: Feng Shui going Dutch
Feng
Shui in the Low Lands has to deal with quite some sceptism .In the beginning
of the dutch exposure to Feng Shui a lot of misinformation occured. I often have
the feeling that I have to defend the Feng Shui philosophy, it is a very intriquing
phenomena. In my vision this sceptism has also to do with the personal chi
of the dutch. It is a challenge to the Feng Shui pratitioner to "convince
" the dutch to the benefits of Interior design with Feng Shui principles.About
Astrid For the past 25 years I have been working as a designer.
The last 15 years mostly in interior design. Eleven years ago I started my
Feng Shui studies with different teachers from around the world. In my Feng
Shui work I combine Intuitive-school, Kompas-school,and Form-school .This organic
fusion of Feng Shui knowledge is my extra dimension in my work as an interior
designer. Feng Shui has given direction to my proffesional life but most certainly
also to my private life. My focus is allways on the well-being of the clients
I work for.

Book: Simply Color By:
Diantha Harris, FSII, ASID, IACT
From all of her years in both interior
design and teaching color as a healing tool, Diantha Harris searched for a simple
book on color, one that was aimed at the lay person as well as the professional.
She finally decided to write the book herself and the result is a book beautifully
written and illustrated that takes a straight look at color and its power. As
a special addition, she has included a chapter on color and feng shui for healing,
a system given to Diantha that has helped countless people regain balance in health
and in their lives. Stop by Booth 203 or the book signing to meet her and to discuss
color and all of its wonderful properties! PO Box 596, Eastport, MI 49627

Labyrinth Experience - Walking a Sacred Path
The Labyrinth dates back to over 4000 years ago and has been found in several
continents and spiritual traditions. Countless cultures have been drawn to the

been revived as a healing and restorative tool that crosses cultural and religious
boundaries. This presentation will discuss the connection of the
Labyrinth to Sacred Geometry, it's history and it's uses as well as a showing
of Grace Cathedral's award winning documentary "Rediscovering the Labyrinth"
that tells its history, mystery, and personal stories of transformation from those
who have experienced this ancient form of meditation. A preview of the documentary

Hornung - Sustainable Ridge & Valley Alliance Presentaton : The Natural
Logic of a House made of Straw
Ron has retired to teaching and
consulting after 30 years of experience as self-employed designer-builder with
an approach to planning and construction that reflects a commitment to integrate
projects and surroundings with regard for environmental impact. He is experienced
in all aspects and modes of residential construction-repair, alteration, renovation,
new homes-from interior woodworking to exterior decks and gardens-conventional,
timberframe, strawbale.
"My experiences supervising 2 strawbale
construction projects at Genesis Farm with groups of inexperienced volunteers
has convinced me that it is a realistic, easily understood approach for do-it
yourselfers. I have seen also that in terms of explicit and embedded costs, and
every aspect of environmental accountability it is a highly desirable, responsible
way to build. In addition, the possibility of "Amish-style house-raising"adds
a social aspect that can never be found in conventional practices. We may
not have all the answers but as pioneers in building with bales in this region
we have identified and resolved many issues that will contribute to the success
of others. After more than ten years, our projects can be seen to be passing the
test of time, and of the northwest New Jersey climate.
