Feng Shui Guild
Feng Shui, translated from the Chinese, means Wind Water. It is a system of philosophy, science and art that has been used for thousands of years as a method of connecting people with Heaven and Earth - seeking a balance between opposites in all aspects of our environments.
Almost every culture of the world reflects some awareness of the power of placement in its wisdom teachings. It is this ancient legacy that Feng Shui practitioners seek to enliven, embrace, uphold and share.
At the deepest level of understanding, Feng Shui is the interplay between the seen (our surroundings) and the unseen (energy and intention). Feng Shui acknowledges the interconnectedness of all creation.

As Chair of the IFSG 2006-2007 Board, Rosalie envisioned and led an organizational-wide restructuring that transformed the Guild from a loosely affiliated membership association to a professional organization where members have a voice in its future and direction. The results were an extensive set of recommendations that were overwhelmingly approved by the members at the end of June 2007. Rosalie will continue to lead the Board through the implementation phase that is now beginning. Rosalie previously served on the board as 2005-2006 Membership Director, and served from 2002-2005 as the Assistant Director and Treasurer of the NYC Chapter.
Rosalie is a certified Feng Shui Practitioner and graduate of the BTB Feng Shui Masters Training Program™. After serving for 3 years as teaching assistant to Dr. Edgar Sung, he invited her teach his classes when he retired in May 2007. She is the only graduate to have joined the faculty.

A graduate of the Western School of Feng Shui, Deb brings a comprehensive approach to creating balance and harmony honoring her clients, helping them to define their unique needs and desires, valuing their spiritual practices, and creating their personal paradises, all to produce wonderful and personal results. With degrees from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Nebraska in accounting and engineering respectively, Deb can bring a strong spatial and practical sense to building flow and arrangements as well as considering the environment setting, providing a total picture to life transformation.
Deb started her path with the International Feng Shui Guild in 2004 as the local Chapter Director for the Kansas City metropolitan area, building the group from limited and small participation to a growing group that thrives on the connections with others and in the community. In 2006, she took on dual roles of IFSG Board Treasurer and Membership Director and enjoys the bigger picture community of spirit found on the board and around the world. In September 2007, she will take on the role of IFSG Office Manager, supporting the organization in ways that are well-suited to her administrative skills and she looks forward to amazing opportunities and wonderful challenges in the future for members and for Feng Shui.

Karen is founder of Wellness Expressions—the center for your wellbeing through creative and natural healing. As a Feng Shui Consultant, facilitator and coach of transformation, Reiki Master, author and artist, Karen is enriching the health and wellbeing of those she works with on Long Island, New York City and across the country by enriching personal and environmental Ch’i of her clients. She conducts workshops and lectures on Feng Shui, offers residential and business Feng Shui, facilitates and coaches the Extraordinary Self system of personal growth and transformation, teaches business building and leadership skills in network marketing, teaches and attunes students in Reiki I, II, III, and Master and offers deep healing Reiki treatments, and leads guided meditations for greater clarity, creativity and heightened awareness of self.
A marketing executive in large international corporations for over twenty-five years and independent marketing consultant for the last five years, she is highly skilled in building marketing communications for businesses of all types, and now places emphasis on businesses that promote and offer holistic health and wellness services, education and healing arts. Karen is expertly trained in BTB Feng Shui and sits on the Board of the International Feng Shui Guild as Marketing Director.

Becoming a Feng Shui consultant and educator was a part of a life journey for LuAnn. Prior to working in the holistic design field, she was an Information technology manager, programmer and web designer. But healthy living practices, art and design have always been her loves. She holds certification in Color Therapeutics for the Home, Medical QiGong Therapy, Soul Coaching, and is a Home Staging Resources professional. Based in Western Pennsylvania, her office is located at Inner Strength, Health and Wellness Center, where she is the Operations Director. She is an active member of the Foundation Council for Interior Alignment, and the Planning Board for the International Feng Shui Guild, as Technology Director.
Her background in Chinese Medicine, feng shui, art and design and the ability to work successfully in the corporate business world provides LuAnn a unique advantage as a Feng Shui and Space Clearing educator and consultant. Her approach is to blend the scientific and physiological aspects of color, light, sound and scent to create a design of gentle balance using the concepts of feng shui. Her consulting practice includes feng shui, home staging, and redesign. She offers courses and workshops in Feng Shui, Space Clearing and Home staging.

Anne is the 2004-2007 Past-President of the Guild, having dedicated herself with great passion and perseverance to co-creating with the Board of Directors, a dynamic new direction for our professional organization. She was the founding director of the Portland, Oregon Chapter of the IFSG in 1998 and then became the US West Regional Director, and served for a year on the Board of Directors for Membership while maintaining her business, Moongate Feng Shui. Teaching and lecturing are part of her varied work, including regular workshops on Feng Shui in the Garden at the Emerald Feng Shui Institute in Seattle.
With a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology (Lewis and Clark College,1981)and a certification in landscape design (1979), Anne is interested in the beauty of both inner and outer aspects of life. She brings 25 years experience in personal and relationship counseling to her feng shui practice. She was certified in Five Element Feng Shui from the Lotus Institute in Seattle and has studied with a wide variety of teachers in Western and traditional methods.

Roger Green is recognized as one of the world's most innovative and dynamic teachers on Feng Shui. A lively and enthusiastic teaching style, he illuminates and explores the deeper principles and underlying wisdom of this ancient philosophy. Integrating the various schools of Feng Shui into a creative, flexible and holistic approach, Roger is one of the most sought after educators and consultants. His teaching is grounded and very accessible, providing information and knowledge that can be applied and used immediately.
RD Chin
R.D. Chin, M.Arch, BSCE is a feng shui consultant, combining his professional background as an architect, civil engineer and interior designer. He spent more than fifteen years studying with the world-renowned feng shui master Professor Lin Yun. His approach to feng shui incorporates simple qigong exercises, meditations and visual presentations as well as design concepts learned while training as an architect under the late master architect, Paul Rudolph.
Mr. Chin teaches in a style which is clear and understandable, demonstrating many case studies from his work illustrating practical feng shui. His approach is to integrate the heart with the mind while maintaining a holistic perspective of an individual’s space and situation. He is the author of Feng Shui Revealed. He maintains an international feng shui architectural and design practice which includes many residential, commercial an urban planning consultations. He is currently the New York City Chapter Director of the International Feng Shui Guild.

Mary Shurleff
Mary has
taken Feng Shui into the 21st century with a combination of Feng Shui Interior
Design, Hypnotherapy, Theta Healing and other tools of the metaphysical arts to
help her clients unlock their hidden creativity, productivity and spirituality.
Mary encourages her clients to develop their six-sense ability to blueprint their
life plans. When this combination of Traditional Interior Design Feng Shui for
the Home and Body is recognized and familial programming is changed, results are
remarkable.
Mary has been in the Metaphysical field since 1989. Mary,
a Certified Interior Designer, certified in Traditional/Compass Feng Shui and
4 Pillar Studies with Master Peter Leung of Canada. Mary has studied advanced
geomancy training with Dominique Susani of Spain and also has attended the Black
Hat Feng Shui China Studies Program in China with Helen and James Jay. Mary is
also a Certified Six Sensory Practitioner, as well as Certified Hypnotherapist
and Theta Energy Practitioner. She believes diversity in educational studies is
important to keep your mind sharp and your wisdom heightened.
Mary owns
and operates Design Wisdom-Feng Shui in Salt Lake City, where she does private
consulting, speaking engagement and seminars, and trains practitioner/coaches
in the basics of Feng Shui Interior Design and the Intuitive arts. Mary is the
author of the newly published book, “The Alchemy of Quantum Mind Feng Shui” available
at most book stores.
Sylvia Watson
Sylvia Watson, president of Healing Environments with Feng Shui, is a well-respected feng shui consultant and educator. She is the co- author of Feng Shui with What You Have, editor of a feng shui newsletter, “Healing Environments”, and contributing columnist for Wisdom magazine. She has been featured in several publications such as CEO and Business First and a featured guest on several TV programs, including a two-part health series devoted to the topic of feng shui on PBS affiliate, WOUB. She serves as a senior faculty member and Director of Operations for the Feng Shui Institute of America, one of the first western approach feng shui certification school in America. Currently she serves on the Education Committee of the Feng Shui Guild.
Sylvia has a BA in Liberal Arts from Marietta College. Teaching credentials in art, earth and social sciences along with years of experience as a color consultant lends to her expertise as a feng shui professional. Her feng shui certification is through the Feng Shui Institute of America (FSIA). She also completed the Faculty Training Program with FSIA which qualified her to be part of a select group sanctioned by FSIA to teach continuing education credits for the American Institute of Interior Designers (ASID), IIDA and other design associations throughout the United States and Canada.

Danita Otruba-O’Connor
Danita Otruba-O’Connor is a licensed Architect, a certified Feng Shui consultant and a member of the US Green Building counsel. Danita was the first female president of the American Institute of Architects, LI chapter and is currently seeking her LEED (Leadership in Energy Efficient Design) certification. Her firm, Butt Otruba-O’Connor Architects was established in 1985. Some of their projects include a green Holistic healing center, multi-family housing, churches, homes and retail. She continues her practice incorporating Feng Shui and a holistic green approach.
Katina
Lemay
Katina is a certified Feng Shui practitioner and Co-Chair of the
Education Committee with the International Feng Shui Guild. She is also a Realtor
in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. To help find the perfect home for her
clients, she uses her feng shui knowledge of Form and Compass feng shui along
with the Bagua and Four Pillars Astrology. To help sell a home, she combines her
background in Interior Design with feng shui to enhance the home with color, accessories,
interior Chi flow and Staging.
Katina is a founding partner and teacher
at The Center for Feng Shui & Intuitive Arts which holds their workshops at
Boston University Corporate Education Center in Tyngsboro, MA. Whether it is a
student, a feng shui client or a real estate client, Katina enthusiastically guides
the individual to align them with their space - identifying and improving targeted
aspects of their lives to manifest their highest aspirations.
